Held 2018-08-11 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Church of Christ, 1075 W Monroe Rd, St Louis, MI.

All Al-Anon/Alateen members are invited to attend. This meeting is served by a potluck lunch so please bring something to share for lunch or continental breakfast. Get Involved! When I got busy, I got better!

This meeting is attended by the Area officers, the Area coordinators, the District Representatives, AIS/LDC Liaisons, and any member who may be interested. Please review and print relevant documents including minutes from the last AWSC meeting and Assembly, the agenda, any policy proposals, the Area Treasurer Report, and the Area Budget. Please be prepared with any questions/comments that you might have.

New Al-Anon Meeting – Noon Wednesdays at WAC

The new meeting is held at Washtenaw Alano Club, 995 Maple Road, Ann Arbor, on Wednesdays from 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM in Meeting Room 2. This is a closed meeting without child care.

The meeting is in the process of updating and consolidating the notebook and activities of this meeting with the Monday and Thursday 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM meetings to make all 3 have a bit more continuity/structure and to make it easier to do group conscience.

2018-06-30 3rd Annual Intimacy Talk: How has alcoholism impacted intimacy as well as sex in our lives?

Zion Lutheran Church, 1501 W Liberty Rd, Ann Arbor (upstairs in the gathering room)
There will be three speakers, followed by open sharing. A new feature of this annual event will be fully anonymous shares, where people can write a share on a notecard. Notecards will be collected and read aloud by meeting organizers without indicating who contributed them.

2018-06-23 Michigan AFG Spring Assembly

All GR’s can vote at this state level meeting and are encouraged to attend or send someone else to represent your meeting. The Assembly is at Church of Christ, 1075 W Monroe Rd, St Louis, MI. Registration opens at 9:00AM; new GR orientation begins at 9:40 AM, and the Assembly starts at 10:00 AM. There is a $7 fee that includes continental breakfast and lunch. Attendance is free for Alateens. Park in the front lot.
