Please join us from 10:45 AM to 12:45 PM at King of Kings, 2685 Packard Rd, Ann Arbor. At this meeting, Group Representatives will be electing our next District Representative (DR), Alternate DR, Secretary, and Treasurer. If your GR can’t attend, send your group’s alternate GR. Additionally, all members are welcome to come and voice their concerns and hear about the happenings in District 5 and beyond. You are welcome to join after 10:45 AM if necessary.

    • Read and provide hard-copies of the description and qualifications for each position
    • Only Group Representatives (GRs) can vote
    • Current DR asks for anyone interested in standing for each position, one at a time
    • Current DR will ask each candidate to explain why they want the position
    • Candidate(s) will step out of the room while GRs vote with paper ballot, including uncontested positions
    • Those elected will serve for 3 years starting on the first of January

“Where Michigan Al-Anon takes care of business!”

Held 2017/08/12 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Church of Christ, 1075 W Monroe Rd, St Louis, MI 48880, USA.

All Al-Anon/Alateen members are invited to attend. This meeting is served by a potluck lunch so please bring something to share for lunch or continental breakfast. Get Involved!!! -When I got busy, I got better!!!

This meeting is attended by the Area officers, the Area coordinators, the District representatives, AIS/LDC Liaisons, and any member who may be interested. Please review and print the agenda for this meeting, the minutes from the last AWSC meeting, the Alateen Policy Proposal, the August Area Treasurer Report, and the 2018 Area Budget. Please be prepared with any questions/comments that you might have.

2017-07-28 Website Committee Meeting

Please attend if you would like to provide input on the design and use of web resources. No technical knowledge is needed, just your thoughts. There is a lot of work to be done and not enough volunteers to make it happen. Food and beverages will be provided.

The meeting is at a residence inside the Mill Creek Townhomes complex in Ann Arbor. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00P and all formal decisions will be complete by 8:00P, but individuals may stay after for additional discussion or development work. The host cordially asks that you remove your outside shoes after entering; you may bring slippers or other clean footwear if you desire. Please RSVP to WebsiteLiaison@afgdistrict5.org if you plan on attending, and you will receive the meeting address by email.
