2013 Al-Anon/Alateen Events:

Al-Anon Open Speaker Meetings: May 31, 2013: (Open Al-Anon meetings may be attended by anyone, including people who are not members of or newcomers to Al-Anon.) This open Al-Anon meeting hosts a speaker meeting every 5^th Friday of each month that has five Fridays. Fellowship begins at 7:30 pm and speaker at 8:00pm. The meeting is located at the First Methodist Church, 1245 W. Maple St. Adrian, MI.

Michigan Al-Anon/Alateen Family Groups 41^st State Convention with AA participation “Rock ‘N Roll Recovery”: May 3^rd thru 5, 2013. Shanty Creek, Bellaire, MI. Host: District 11. Please click here for flier and Hotel Reservation on Separate Form!! Come and hear Al-Anon, Alateen and AA Speakers.

Al-Anon 2013 International Convention w/ AA participation “Celebrating Worldwide Unity” will be held July 5-7, 2013 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Click here for flier! Registration began in September; information will be mailed to groups and posted on the Members’ Web site.

2014 and beyond:

Al-Anon International Convention will be July 6-8, 2018 - site unknown at this time.

AA International Convention with full Al-Anon/Alateen Program will be held July 2020: – Detroit, MI

Alcoholics Anonymous 2015 International Convention with Al-Anon participation: The 2015 International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous will be held July 3-5, over the July 4th weekend in Atlanta, Georgia.

Alcoholics Anonymous 2020 International Convention with Al-Anon/Alateen participation: We are excited to learn that the 2020 International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous will be held in Detroit over the July 4^th weekend.

Planning a trip? Want to know about Al-Anon/Alateen events outside of our local community? The Al-Anon World Services Office maintains a calendar of Al-Anon/Alateen events held nationwide and internationally. Members can reach the calendar by going to the “member’s area” of the World Services web site, at http://www.al-anon.org/members/. You need to know the name of your registered “home group” or your district to enter a password to access the “member’s area.” Follow the directions to enter the password. Then, click on “calendar” at the bottom of the page.
