Michigan AFG Spring Assembly: June 9, 2012 “Our Spiritual Journey- We get as we give” will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the St. Louis Church of Christ, 1075 West Monroe Road, St. Louis, Michigan. Registration starts at 9:00am, 9:40am New Group Rep Orientation and 10:00am Assembly begins. Al-Anon registration is $7.00 – Alateens attend free. Buffet lunch provided. The Area Assembly is a business meeting where participating members share experiences and ideas, and group representatives vote on behalf of their members. If your Group Rep or Alternate Group Rep can’t make it, please designate someone from your group to attend.

20^th Trillium Al-Anon Convention 2012 Years Steps with AA Participation – The convention will be held Friday June 15-17, 2012 at the Double Tree International Plaza Hotel 655 Dixon Road, Toronto, ONT. There will be Al-Anon, Alateen and AA speakers. Also there is a full Alateen and AA Program. Please click here for Convention & Registration Forms.

Al-Anon Open Speaker Meetings: Fridays; June 29, 2012, August 31, 2012 and November 30, 2012: (Open Al-Anon meetings may be attended by anyone, including people who are not members of or newcomers to Al-Anon.) This open Al-Anon meeting hosts a speaker meeting every 5^th Friday of each month that has five Fridays. Fellowship begins at 8:00 pm and speaker at 8:30pm. The meeting is located at the First Methodist Church, 1245 W. Maple St. Adrian, MI. For more information, please phone the Adrian A.A. and Al-Anon number at 517-265-3590.

60^th Michigan Alcoholics Anonymous State Convention with a full Al-Anon/Alateen Program: will be held Friday June 29, 2012 through Sunday July 1, 2012, at Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, 187 Monroe NW, Grand Rapids, MI. Weekend events and activities included AA speakers, Al-Anon and Alateen speakers, panel discussions, and more. Click here for flier!!

The 24th Annual Fall Weekend: will be held on Friday, October 19 through Sunday, October 21, 2012. The weekend include fun, fellowship, AA and Al-Anon panels, speakers, ice cream social, card games, and the mystique of Mackinac Island. Please click here for registration form.

2013 and beyond:

Alcoholics Anonymous 2015 International Convention: The 2015 International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous will be held over the July 4th weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. This convention includes Al-Anon/Alateen participation.

Alcoholics Anonymous 2020 International Convention: We are excited to learn that the 2020 International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous will be held in Detroit over the July 4^th weekend. This convention includes Al-Anon/Alateen participation.

Planning a trip? Want to know about Al-Anon/Alateen events outside of our local community? The Al-Anon World Services Office maintains a calendar of Al-Anon/Alateen events held nationwide and internationally. Members can reach the calendar by going to the “member’s area” of the World Services web site, at http://www.al-anon.org/members/. You need to know the name of your registered “home group” or your district to enter a password to access the “member’s area.” Follow the directions to enter the password. Then, click on “calendar” at the bottom of the page.
